For those of you traveling from up off the mountain, we certainly want you to make the most of your time here. Allow us to make some recommendations for your visit.
Shopping: Main Street in Sparta is a great place to start if you are in the mood for shopping or just trying to find some last minute gifts. If you find yourself there, be sure to visit A Touch of Grace (General Store). For wonderful smells of the High Country, check out Sparta Candle Company (soy candles, soaps, etc.) While you're on Main, you might as well stop in at Becca's Backwoods Bean and get a coffee....we always do.
Dining: For such a small town, we have some excellent places to eat. If you like Mexican food, visit Mis Arados in the Food Lion Shopping center. The Pizzeria and Taphouse on Main is another place we like to frequent. Lastly, if you like BBQ, it's a little bit of a drive but we HIGHLY recommend Motley's BBQ. If you elect to make that drive, you should probably drop in and check out Pottery by Jess...it isn't food, but it's on the way. Jess's pottery can also be found at A Touch of Grace.
